Rupel Sworn In

Dimitrij Rupel, who has just been appointed Slovenia's foreign minister, has already been sworn in. His candidacy was backed in parliament on Wednesday in a 55:13 vote. 74 votes were cast in a secret ballot, six of which were invalid. "I shall respect the constitution and law, and shall act for the good of Slovenia, " Rupel said in front of lawmakers.
