U.S. Marines Raise Some Euro 3,500 for Charity

Koper, 3 February - U.S./SLOVENIA/DEFENCE/CHARITY
The orchestra of the U.S. Navy ship, USS La Salle, which reached the port of Koper on Monday, played a charity concert on Wednesday evening in the city of Koper. The money from the concert, at which there were around 1,500 visitors, will go to the Red Cross of Koper. Around SIT 700,000 (euro 3,500) will be used to buy food and sanitary products for those on the margin of society as well as to further some other Red Cross projects.
