Advertising Business Turns Over SIT 41 Billion
Ljubljana, 3 February - MEDIA/ADVERTISING/TURNOVER
The gross value of advertising in 1999 amounted to SIT 41 billion (DM 410 million), while the net worth was estimated at SIT 20 billion (DM 200 million). In comparison to 1998, the advertising business' turnover increased, but the percentage of TV advertising fell. The leadership among the advertisers belongs to the advertising agency P&G, with cars and telecommunications being the most advertised items. These results were released by the Institute for Media Research Mediana.
