Prices Fall on Ljubljana Stock Exchange

Last week's trading on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange was marked by falling prices, which resulted mainly from a statement made by the governor of the Bank of Slovenia, France Arhar. He has announced that for the time being, the central bank is not planning considerable liberalisation of capital flows. The stock brokers maintain that the statement was unnecessary, as it only made foreign investors sell a lot of their shares of pharmaceutical companies.
