Ceremony in Sarajevo Marks Slovenia's Culture Holiday

Slovene Cultural Association Cankar prepared a ceremony in Sarajevo marking the Slovene national holiday, Culture Day, which is celebrated on 8 February. A speech at the Saturday evening ceremony by Slovene Ambassador to Bosnia Drago Mirosic about the life and work of the Slovenia's most famous poet France Preseren (1800-1849) was followed by a flautist Klemen Ramovs and a recitalist Simona Zorc, who performed Preseren's Sonnets of Unhappiness.
