Slovenia To Upgrade Its Health Care System With a World Bank Loan

Ljubljana, 7 February - HEALTH/CARE/MODERNISATION
The World Bank granted a euro 9-million loan last month to Slovenia so that the country could upgrade its health care system. The entire project, whose crucial part is the modernisation of the information technology in Slovenia's health care services, is estimated at euro 28.8 million. The loan will be used for the first stage of this government project which is worth euro 13.8 million. Slovenia will start repaying the loan in five years' time from the national budget.
