No Compensation Guarantee Made by Fischler

The European Commissioner for Agriculture Franz Fischler could not reject nor agree to Slovenia's request for integration into the system of direct compensations to farmers from the EU budget upon entering the Union, Agriculture Minister Ciril Smrkolj said at Monday's press conference. The pair met last Thursday in Brussels to discuss Slovenia's position papers in the field of agriculture.
