Exhibition of Slovene Poets and Authors in Swedish Translations

Ljubljana, 7 February - SLOVENIA/CULTURE/DAY
An exhibition with the title 'Slovene Poets and Authors in Swedish Translations from 1895' was opened at Preseren's hall to mark the occasion of the Slovene Cultural Day, 8 February, and more than 100 years of cultural co-operation between Slovenia and Sweden. Proof of which is the translations of Preseren's poems and Askerc's ballads by Alfred Jensen (1859-1921).
