Mesic Talks About Relations With Slovenia

Zagreb, 8 February - CROATIA/SLOVENIA/MESIC
The newly elected Croatian president, Stipe Mesic, has also mentioned Slovene-Croatian relations in his first official statement following the announcement of election results. Mesic said that certain unresolved issues exists between Slovenia and Croatia, which are able to be solved. In Mesic's words this has to be done straight away, because the problems should not be passed on to future generations.
