Mladina: Mesic to Prevent Defiance From the Croatian Side

The newly elected Croatian President, Stipe Mesic, stressed in his interview for the weekly Mladina that the cause of problems between Slovenia and Croatia are both of an objective and subjective nature, and that it is possible to see defiance from both sides. "Following my election there will be no more defiance from the Croatian side," asserted Mesic. In his opinion the problem of the border needs to be resolved urgently, for the beginning, he says, there needs to be a lot of good will from both sides.
