Slovenia Second in the World in UNICEF Card Sales

Ljubljana, 8 February - The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) committee in Slovenia aims its activities at the protection of health safety of kids, the promotion and protection of children's rights, research and analysis of the position of children, as well as the collection of funds for UNICEF so as to inform the public. The Slovene committee receives the greatest share of resources for its operations from sale of UNICEF products, mainly greeting cards, thus giving Slovenia the distinction of ranking second in the world in UNICEF greeting cards sales per head.
