European Court of Human Rights Rules Against Slovenia
Strasbourg, 8 February - SLOVENIA/EUROPE/HUMAN/RIGHTS
The European Court of Human Rights passed a judgement Tuesday on the case of Majaric against Slovenia, in which it found Slovenia in violation of Article 6 (the right to a fair trial in reasonable time) of the European Convention on Human Rights. The court awarded Ljubo Majaric, a Slovene national, SIT 300,000 (euro 1510) in compensation for this violation, reported the Council of Europe (CoE).
