Turover on the LSE Lower in January

Ljubljana, 10 February - STOCK/EXCHANGE/JANUARY
The Ljubljana Stock Exchange recorded a turnover of SIT 20.8 billion (105 million euros) in January. That is half the figure recorded in December, when a record turnover of SIT 44.3 billion was handled, and a drop of SIT 2.3 billion over the figure registered in January 1999. The SBI share index gained 5.27 percent in January, while the SBI's annual increase (December 1999 over December 1998) was 5.89 percent.
