Martelli: Slovenia Has to Carry Out Decisive Steps

Ljubljana, 11 February - SLOVENIA/EU/PARLIAMENT/MARTELLI
Rapporteur for the European Parliamentary Committee for International Relations, Human Rights and Common Foreign and Security Policy for Slovenia Claudio Martelli told Slovene representatives Friday in Ljubljana that Slovenia has to carry out decisive steps, especially in the next half of the year and before the parliamentary elections. This is in light of Slovenia's aspirations to become a full EU member by 1 January 2003, and will include important measures having to be taken in the public administration field, especially the justice system.
