Croatian President Mesic Is Optimistic as Regards Relations with Slovenia

The problems in the relations between Croatia and Slovenia can be solved in a very short period of time. The new generation in power in Croatia can solve them and has to solve them, Croatia's new President Stipe Mesic said in an interview for Saturday's issue of a Slovene daily. He believes that the settling of outstanding issues must not be delayed as the international community too expects both countries to make an effort.
