Slovenia Puts an Embargo on Poultry Imports From Italy

Ljubljana, 13 February - In order to prevent entry and spreading of fowl plague from various regions of Italy, Slovenia has put an embargo on imports and transportation through Slovenia of domestic poultry and wildfowl, eggs, and fowl. The decision was issued by Director of Veterinary Administration Zoran Kovac, and has taken effect since Saturday.
