Ljubljana, 14 February - As one of the least problematic EU candidates in terms of agriculture, Slovenia has not yet been reassured, despite its accelerated diplomatic effort and lobbying, that it would be treated differently from the other candidates. Thus, Slovenia cannot count on direct compensation payments for farmers from the EU budget upon Slovenia's entry into the EU, Delo writes on Monday.
