Drnovsek: Slovenia Will Strain Relations with Austria If Necessary

In the case of Austria one should pay attention so as to avoid a sequel of the story from five years ago. At the time the government of Berlusconi and Fini in Italy was extorting Slovenia, while the European Union observed without doing anything. That is what Slovenia is trying to show, Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek said in an interview for the national television. It is on that point that Drnovsek sees the difference between Slovenia and other European countries which are worried about their internal problems with their own Haiders and fears that such politicians might spring up.
