Sculptures Featured at 'The Nude in Slovenia' Exhibition
Ljubljana, 15 February - ART/SCULPTURE/EXHIBITION
A total of 114 sculptures by 54 Slovene artists will be exhibited as part of a series of exhibitions named 'The Nude in Slovenia' which were launched last year with an exhibition of paintings dealing with the same theme. The two exhibitions which will open on Tuesday evening have been curated by Dr. Lev Menase, an art critic. While contemporary sculptors will be exhibited at Jakopic Gallery, older works of art will be on display at the culture centre, Cankarjev doma. Both exhibitions close on 2 April, but a follow-up is expected next year to feature nudes in photos.
