Two Persons Killed in an Explosion

Ptuj, 15 February - EXPLOSION/DEATH
Early on Tuesday morning a blast completely destroyed a building in the city of Ptuj, northeastern Slovenia, and killed two persons. A strong explosion which according to unofficial information was caused by a gas leak and killed Joze Erhatic (57) and his wife Stefka Kmetec (50), while their 28-year old son Borut survived the blast as he jumped out of the window, but suffered severe injuries from the jump. The son is being treated in a hospital in the nearby city of Maribor, Slovene national radio reported.
