Kacin Concerned With the Situation in Austria

The president of the Slovene parliamentary committee for international relations (OMO), Jelko Kacin, assessed the developments in Austria following the entrance of the right wing freedom party as worrying. Speaking in Brussels on Tuesday, Kacin warned that Vienna is becoming a hostage of Klagenfurt, the Corinthian capital whose governor is the freedom party's leader, Joerg Haider. Kacin also expressed concern for the possible threat that the new Austrian government posses to the EU expansion process.
