A Cividale Bank Acquires a Minority Shareholding in Italy-Based Slovene Bank

The Cividale-based Banca popolare (BPC) has acquired a 35.65 percent stake the Slovene bank Kmecka banka Gorica (KBG), which is located in Gorizia, Italy. The bank group Caer of Bologna, which has been a minority shareholder in the Slovene bank so far, had to leave KBG after merging with Casse Venete (Venetian Savings Banks), a Trieste-based Slovene language daily reports on Wednesday.
