Kucan Comments On DeSUS' Invitation To Form A Party

"It is my firm intention to finish my job in the second presidential term as the president of all citizens, and I do not wish to get attached to any political party," Slovenia's President Milan Kucan stated on Wednesday in a response to an open letter in which the smallest coalition party, Democratic Party of Pensioners (DeSUS), urged him earlier this month to "form his own party in a bid to offer the electorate a political orientation which he has been advocating in his public appearances during his presidency".
