Truck Drivers' Trade Union Announces Road Blockade

The truck drivers' trade union (SAS) will be forced to stage a road blockade if the Slovene Foreign Ministry does not act to ensure that Slovene truckers travelling to Eastern European countries, and Romania in particular get entry visas without complications. This decision, taken on Wednesday, was prompted by the fact that some 100 Slovene truck drivers are waiting long hours to be let into Romania after Slovenia has introduced entry visas for Romanian citizens, a move followed by a countermeasure on the Romanian side.
