Vreme: Janez Drnovsek: Slovenes Do Not Hate Serbs

Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek used a long interview with the Belgrade newspaper, Vreme, to asses relations between Slovenia and Yugoslavia, the NATO attacks on Yugoslavia and the role of Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic in the Balkan conflict. Drnovsek is of the opinion that the settlement of bilateral relations between Slovenia and Yugoslavia is necessary because of the many vital problems that face the citizens of both nations. He is also surprised that an internationally isolated country, such as Yugoslavia, does not use the chance for opening which is offered by Slovenia.
