Slovenia Participates at the CMX/CRISEX 2000 Exercise

The joint crisis management exercise of the Western European Union (WEU) and the NATO alliance CMX/CRISEX 2000 is beginning on Thursday at the Council of WEU in Brussels. Participating alongside the member countries of both organisations will also be the associate members of the WEU. Slovenia will thus participate in this exercise which will take place until 23 February, and will be attended by 30 countries. Two Slovene officers will participate in the leadership of this exercise, which is an important achievement for Slovenia, the STA was informed by Rajko Nazer from the Ministry of Defense.
