Rotomatika a Successful Slovene Story

Idrija, 18 February - COMPANIES/ROTOMATIKA/OPERATIONS
Rotomatika, an Idrija-based company dealing with the production of electric motors and parts for electric motors, turned over DEM 95 million in 1999 and recorded a DEM 2.7 million profit, despite a recession in their traditional markets. The sale for this year should also increase by 20 percent to reach DEM 120 million, with the help of new programmes and projects. This is more than half of the total trade of the group, which Rotomatika is a part of. The current results show that these expectations may be surpassed, said Rotomatika management president Iztok Seljak at Friday's press conference.
