Matjaz Vrhovnik capped of a brilliant day for Slovene skiing with a victory in the World Cup men's slalom event held in Adelboden. Vrhovnik, who has been in great form of late, finished 21 hundredths of a second in front of Norwegian Kjetil Andre Aamodt and 43 hundredths in front of Mario Matt from Austria.
