The bank Dolenjska banka increased the volume of its business by 13 percent if measured by a rise in its total assets. On the last day of 1999, the bank's total assets were SIT 87.6 billion, up SIT 10.1 billion. Its gross profits rose by two percent, while its clear profits fell by 7.2 percent in 1999 from 1998 to SIT 478.4 million. The bank holds a 3.2-percent market share.
