Ljubljana, 22 February - The government, inundated with demands for better wages, increases in the standard of living and a decrease in the financial difference of society, has decided to put up the negotiating barricades. It is, with gusto, preparing comparative studies between wages and promising 'revisals' of previously reached agreements. With this it is unfortunately putting on the line its credibility, since it is scrutinising agreements that were signed by experts from its own ranks. Those same papers, which would form the foundations of a painstakingly harmonised social partnership, were endorsed by this very government, writes Delo in Tuesday's edition.
