WEU's Defence Committee Meets in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 22 February - The defence committee of the Western European Union (WEU) will hold a meeting between 23 and 25 February in Ljubljana to discuss first drafts of reports, which are to be presented at the WEU assembly meeting in June. Chairman of the WEU assembly, Klaus Buehler, is also expected to arrive on a two-day visit to Ljubljana on Thursday, 24 February, when he is scheduled to meet with President Milan Kucan, Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, Speaker of Slovene Parliament Janez Podobnik, and Minister of Defence Franci Demsar.
