Minister Razgorsek Sponsors the Ptuj Carnival

The Kurenti, the most characteristic costume of the Ptuj region, eastern Slovenia, representing mythical creatures who drive away the winter in Carnival days, visited Minister of Small Business and Tourism Janko Razgorsek on Wednesday and asked him to sponsor the 40th annual Carnival festival 'Kurentovanje' in the city of Ptuj. Minister Razgorsek accepted the patronage over the Carneval and promised that he would be present at the opening on 26 February.
