Prime Minister Drnovsek Begins Official Visit to Malta

Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek began a three-day visit to Malta on Thursday with a meeting with Speaker of the Maltese Parliament, Anton Tabone as well as the Maltese president of the parliamentary committee for international relations, Dolores Cristina and several government and opposition MPs. In his discussions with the members of parliament, in which the Maltese President Guido de Marco also took part, the center of attention was given to the experience gained by Slovenia during EU integration, in addition to Slovenia's views in subsequent dynamics, including accession talks and the EU inter-governmental conference.
