Buehler in Favor of Cooperation in Building of the CFSP

Associated members, partners, and observer states of the WEU should have an opportunity to actively participate in establishing the common foreign and security policy, said President of the WEU assembly Klaus Buehler at Friday's press conference, in light of a prospective gradual merger of the WEU with the EU. Buehler also thanked Slovenia for its contribution to the Balkan stability pact, on Friday, expressing gratitude over Slovenia's efforts to "export" its internal political stability to other countries of the region.
