Slovene UNICEF Committee Raised SIT 240 Million in 1999

Slovene UNICEF Committee sold over two million Christmas greeting cards last year, which is 20,000 more than a year before. The greatest success was fund raising campaigns as the sum of donations was double the 1998 figure. The committees raised SIT 240 million (1.2 million euros) on behalf of UNICEF aid programmes for children in 1999, shows the report on last year's operation of the Slovene UNICEF Committee.
