Inflation in February at 0.9 Percent

Ljubljana, 29 February - February inflation amounted to 0.9 percent. That figure represents the increase in consumer goods in comparison to January. The National Statistical Office reported that prices of consumer goods increase by 1.7 percent in comparison to December 1999, while prices from the same period last year increased by 8.3 percent. Goods were up one percent in February from January, while services rose by 0.9 percent.
