Refinery in Lendava Recorded a Loss in 1999

The supervisory board of the Slovene refinery Nafta Lendava, northeastern Slovenia, discussed problems that the company faces due to high oil prices. If oil prices do not settle and raw materials are not available at lower prices, a programme for a temporary cessation of operation in refinery will have to be prepared. Nafta Lendava will inform both owners, the oil company Petrol and the state, of its problems.
