Gov't Sees No Reason to Respond to Haider's Resignation

Ljubljana, 1 March - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel on Wednesday refused to comment on the resignation of the leader of the Austrian Freedom Party (FPOe) Joerg Haider, but said that "every party has a right to give statements on party affairs of related or nonrelated parties, but I see no reason why the government or the Foreign Ministry should make statements about internal developments in a party that they have nothing in common with".
