Sports Court Rejects Majcen's Appeal

Lausanne, 1 March - SWIMMING/DOPING/MAJCEN
The Court of Arbitration for Sport, based in Lausanne, rejected the appeal filed by Slovene long distance swimmer Igor Majcen on the charge of taking nonandrolone, which was found in his blood after a competition. With this the court confirmed the four year suspension that was imposed by the Doping Panel of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) on August 8, 1999, stated a press release from the International Council of Arbitration for Sport.
