Vecer Comments Negotiations on Salaries Policy

Social partners now finally agree that something has to be done with the lowest pays so that those who receive such salaries would have a few tolars more left in their pockets. The shortest way to it is to exempt such people from tax, the Maribor daily states on Thursday in response to Wednesday's decision by the Economic and Social Council to task the government to produce within a fortnight its proposals on the new draft of the income tax law which is to introduce a tax relief for those whose salaries do not exceed the minimum pay.
