Another Incident on Slovene-Croatian Border

Hotiza, 2 March - Residents of Hotiza, a village near Croatian border in northeastern Slovenia, have set up a roadblock on the road towards Croatia after a group of Croatian policemen checked the identity of three villagers working in the forest, taking away their passports. The Croatian policemen returned the passports to the villagers at about midnight on Wednesday, whereupon the roadblock was removed and the Croatian policemen were able to left the Slovene territory escorted by their Slovene counterparts, the Murska Sobota police authorities said in a press release on Thursday.
