SKB Shareholders Choose a New Auditor

The shareholders of the SKB bank on their Thursday's meeting unanimously confirmed the decision about the new auditor of the bank for 1999. The new auditor will be Deloitte & Touche from Ljubljana. The shareholders were also informed about the business results in the past year. The unaudited data show that the SBK bank, the second largest Slovene bank, concluded 1999 with operational profits totalling SIT 3.217 billion (DM 32.17 million). Net losses amounted to SIT 5.537 billion (DM 55.37 million) and are a result of increased reservation for credit risks, the SKB bank reported on Thursday. The audited data on the 1999 business results will be discussed at the general meeting to be held at the end of May.
