Kucan Concludes Visit to Latvia

Riga, 3 March - LATVIA/KUCAN/VISIT
Slovene President Milan Kucan and the Slovene government and business delegation concluded their three-day visit to Latvia on Friday. Kucan visited Latvia at the invitation of Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga, and used the visit to discuss European and EU issues with Latvian representatives. Talks also covered European security issues, as well as Slovene and Latvian efforts for NATO membership. The agenda of the visit also covered other bilateral issues, mainly of an economic nature.
