Slovene World Congress Supports Hotize Residents

Ljubljana, 4 March - BORDER/INCIDENT/HOTIZE
The administration board of the Slovene world congress on Saturday adopted a statement in which it supports 'the self-sacrifice of the residents of Hotize (a village at the Slovene-Croatian border) in their defence of Slovene territory on the left bank of the Mura river'. The statement follows a border incident last Wednesday, when Croatian policemen checked the identity of three villagers working in the forest, taking away their passports.
