Hotiza Residents Repeat Their Demands to Gov't Representatives

Lendava, 5 March - HOTIZA/MEETING/GOVERNMENT
The representatives of the Prime Minister, the Foreign and Interior Ministries as well as the Ministry of the Environment and Physical Planning, met behind closed doors with representatives of the residents of the village Hotiza, eastern Slovenia, on Sunday in Lendava. Hotiza has been the site of two international incidents of late, the latest occurring on Wednesday night. That is why representatives of Hotiza repeated their demands for a prompt definition of the border with Croatia, the introduction of the border status as was valid on the day of Slovenia's independence (25 June 1991) and the free movement of Slovene citizens in the region, said Lendava Mayor Joze Kocon at the press conference following the meeting.
