Wine Sales Go Up in Slovenia

Wine sales have been on the increase in Slovenia since the second half of last year. In 1990 the sales were up by four percent mainly as a result of the millennium atmosphere and lessened pressure of the gray market. Last year Slovene wine producers exported 14 million litres of wine, a rise of more than 50 percent over 1998.
