Delo: Breakfast With NATO
Ljubljana, 7 March - PRESS/PUTIN/NATO
The Kremlin image-makers obviously prepared well for the Sunday Breakfast with Sir David Frost on BBC. After a series of failed media attempts, the Kremlin finally answered the question which the West has been wondering for a good two months; Who is Mister Putin? The outcome was somewhat shocking as no one expected Vladimir Putin to flirt so openly with the West and even more so with NATO. Lenient when it comes to revival of the rather cold relations with the West, and solid when it comes to the battle against "terrorists and bandits" in Chechnya. The goal was, of course, only one; not to offend anyone. In most part he was successful with this, writes the Tuesday release of Delo.
