Foreign Minister Rupel to Pay a Working Visit to Rome

Ljubljana, 7 March - SLOVENIA/ITALY/BACKGROUND
Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to pay a one-day working visit to Rome on Wednesday. Rupel will meet with his Italian counterpart Lamberto Dini, Speaker of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Luciano Violante and Foreign Trade Minister Piero Fassino. During the visit, the Slovene and Italian foreign ministers are to sign an agreement on investment protection and encouragement, as well as an agreement on co-operation in education, culture and science.
