Foreign Investment Vital For Development of the Slovene Power Industry

Slovenia's power industry exports as much as 70 percent of its output (worth US$ 1.47 billion in 1999), which makes up 17 percent of Slovenia's total annual export of goods. Two and a half to three times below the EU average, its low value added still calls for concern.
