Decrease in Profit for Emona Obala Koper

According to unaudited and unconsolidated results the trade company Emona Obala Koper turned over SIT 9.76 billion (euro 48 million) in 1999 which is SIT 120 million (euro 600,000) less than in 1998. The net profit in the last business year amounted to SIT 582.5 million (euro 2.9 million), a drop of 13 percent in comparison to 1998, the STA was informed by Emona Obala Director Zmago Furlan, who added that the weak results are a consequence of higher operating costs.
